I think spring has finally arrived. The last few days have been in the low 60's. We have had sunshine. I checked Green, Davis, and Campbell Lakes in the last few days. They have a lot of water and are stained. A friend fished Green a few mornings ago and caught some nice rainbows on dry flies. Green looked the best of the 3 lakes I checked.
I am also hearing some good reports from Rufus Woods. Big triploids up to 20 pounds. A friend living in Grand Coulee recently landed a nine and ten pounder. And he was swinging flies with a two-hander. Nothing wrong with that.
I will be on the Yakima May 11 and 18 with guests. I would love to float you down the Yakima while I am there. Call me. Oh by the way, the Yakima is known for its Mother's Day Caddis Hatch.
See ya on the river, Rod
